Home grooming gear, chosen by the job you need done

Three sensible starting points for grooming at home: two vacuum kits that collect hair as you clip, and a plain cordless clipper if you groom outdoors.

Bigger canister, US plug listed

INSE P30 grooming vacuum (4.5 L dust box)

Heavy shedders and households grooming indoors often

Compact all-in-one kit

JHK 2.5 L grooming vacuum kit (3 suction modes, 5 tools)

Smaller homes and occasional grooming

Alternative without a vacuum

Rechargeable pet hair clipper

Outdoor grooming and quick tidy-ups

Shortlists and comparisons

Common buying mistakes

  1. Choosing on suction figures

Listings quote suction and motor numbers that are not comparable between sellers. Attachments, canister size and plug type tell you more.

  2. Forgetting the plug

Corded kits are sold with different plug types. Pick the US plug variant at checkout when shipping to the United States.

  3. Believing 'silent'

'Low noise' and 'ultra quiet' are seller claims without a stated method. If your dog is noise-sensitive, introduce any device gradually.

How we choose

We look for listings with an identifiable model, a documented attachment set and a US plug option, from stores with long order histories. Every specification is labelled with its source. Nothing here has been tested by us yet, and we make no health or safety claims for any device.
